2009 PC LAN Party - May 8-10, 2009!
We bring out console action once again to this annual weekend long PC LAN party!

The dates for this year's annual ZeroPing PC LAN party are
May 8th - 10th (Friday to Sunday as usual for over 50 hours of gaming)
The event will be located in the Aurora Community Center

Console gaming to include:
Halo 3, Left 4 Dead, Rock Band, Dance Dance Revolution, etc.
PC gaming includes: Counterstrike (1.6 & Source), Left 4 Dead

CONSOLE LANERS - WHAT YOU NEED?

please bring a wired Xbox 360 controller with you to compete in the Halo 3 or Left 4 Dead tournaments
if you are sleeping on site, please come preparred, with a sleeping bag or blanket and a pillow - sleeping area will not be provided
$$ there will be additional fees for entry into the cash pot tournaments, there will be a snack bar available on site, and the Gamer's Swap used items sale as well, so be sure to have a few extra dollars to spend..

As we all know gamers amass a lot of stuff. We are consumers, constantly upgrading our hardware, peripherals and purchasing new software.

But what happens with the stuff we are no longer using??
Usually, it sits in boxes under our desks or in our closets, waiting for the day when it is so obsolete it has become worthless and gets thrown into the trash.

Stop the waste! Clear some space... Earn some dollar$!
On the weekend of May 8-10, dork & Zero Ping will be running a Gamer's Swap as part of LANapalooza 2009!
Whether you have items to sell or are looking for new toys to play with, you will not want to miss this opportunity.

BUYERS

Items will be available for sale from Saturday May 9 @10 A.M. till Sunday May 10, @ Noon.

SELLERS

Information for sellers:
The way this works is simple. Just search your collection for items that you're no longer using, but may still interest a fellow gamer. These could include PC hardware components, peripherals, networking cables, software (originals - no copied software), console gaming systems, controllers, etc. etc.

Bring these items with you to the LANapalooza event and turn them in to the staff in the Gamer’s Swap area. You will be asked to fill in a form for each item (linked below, which you can download, print and complete in advance) describing the item, identifying any issues with the equipment, and listing what pricing you expect to see.

Seller's must complete one of these forms for each item being submited for sale

(These forms can be completed in advanced and brought to the event to save time during seller registration,
or there will be forms available to be filled out on site the day of the event)

Main collections will be done on Friday, May 8, however LAN latecomers can still turn in items until 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 9 for inclusion in the sale.

Our staff will then sort, categorize and price all of the items received and prepare them for the sale.

Unsold goods can be collected between Saturday, May 9 @ 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 10 @ 2 p.m. Any items left unclaimed at this time will be collected and delivered to a charitable organization.

What is in it for us?

This is a consignment sale, which means that we are providing a venue and staff to sell your unwanted goods, and collecting a fee of 20% on all items sold to recoup our costs for hosting this event.

There is no fee for submitting goods to the sale, and if the items are unsold, you can collect these goods after the sale and you have paid nothing to try.

If your items are sold, a 20% fee will be removed from the final sale price of the item.
